However, we are going to focus on an average corporate web site with 10-15 pages that is professionally designed by a team of marketing, design, and photographic experts. In order to compare apples-to-apples, we are going to define the cost of a web site as all the common fees associated with the concept development, site organization, design of the pages, and direction of photography.

According to the Pricing & Ethical Guidelines Handbook published by the Graphic Arts Guild, the average cost of a web site for a small corporation can range between $7,750 and 15,000 as illustrated in Figure 1.
